Yeeha! Man, I felt like I was 21 again. I rushed out and bought tickets for SD and Bob Mould the moment I saw the shows announced. Bob's show at the LA2 will sell out, but, yes, I am in agreement with all those who think that the Astoria show is ambitious. Green Day had a top ten single and album when they first played there. Much as I love SD, playing to a half empty crowd would dull the atmosphere a little.

Which negates the need to rush out and buy tickets as soon as the show was announced.........

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">Don't worry...here in Cologne/Germany they actually switched halls from the E-Werk which packs about 2500 people (it was sold out within a few days) to the Palladium with a capacity of 4000!
    Pretty crazy, huh?
I remember the last German tour in '97 in clubs with roughly 600/700 people...

Apparently, they regularly pack out 3000+ venues in LA county.

I saw SD at The Underworld and The Garage in London and being a regular at both venues at the time, I do not recall either venue being particularly rammed. I am not sure why I expect them to switch to the LA2 downstairs.

Has anyone who ordered tickets from gigsandtours.com recieved their tickets yet? Because I ordered mine a good 2 weeks ago and i tracked them with the ID number and it said they would be dispatched to me once they recieved the tickets, just wondering if it is the same for everyone else?

Just checked the tracker for mine and it says

Order status We are waiting for these tickets to come into stock, when they arrive we will send to
<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">I did read somewhere when I was ordering that they could be dispatched at anytime. But if they haven't arrived upto 5 days before show date get in touch !!!

I hate waiting for things like this. I just like to have the thing in my hand.

It was nerve racking in 2003 going all the way to the HOB in Anahiem, not having a ticket in my hand but having to pick it up from the will-call on the night of the show. But it all worked out. And a great show it was too.
